Hello, I am Colleen Harris, a dedicated and compassionate home carer with a passion for helping others lead independent lives. With a wealth of experience in caring for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound conditions, respiratory illnesses such as COPD and asthma, urinary disorders like UTI and incontinence, as well as poor or declining mobility, I am well-equipped to provide the highest level of care and support to those in need.
Having the ability to drive and possessing my own car, I am not only able to assist with transportation needs but also ensure that my clients have access to medical appointments and social activities. My skills in bathing, toileting, dressing assistance, catheter care, and providing companionship make me a reliable and trustworthy carer for those requiring specialized care and attention.
Outside of my caregiving responsibilities, my hobbies include cooking and baking delicious meals, solving puzzles, socializing, playing board and card games and spontaneous singing. Although I love all animals, I am unfortunately allergic to most animals with fur. I have a soft spot for fish, birds, lizards, turtles, and snakes. Known for my caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude, I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for and bring a ray of sunshine into their everyday lives.
